Kumeyaay tribe awarded custody of La Jolla Bones

After years of legal debate, the custody of two skeletons (the La Jolla Bones) was awarded to the Kumeyaay tribe. The decision is hotly contended as a miscarriage of justice by the University of California scientists who were hoping to use new methods of DNA testing on the bones.
